From your post you don't really sound like you've made any effort to get to know people in your house. It reads like someone who's already made up their mind.

Relationship building goes both ways, and, to use a catch phrase - you get out of it what you put into it. It doesn't sound like you've put anything into it - hanging out with sisters outside of mandatory activities, making an effort to get to know people.
