I try to always be nice on GC, but this is so phenomenally stupid I can't even fathom it. Why would anyone think this was a plausible option? Why would any chapter pledge you if you have no intention of being an active member? Why would the USC chapter just blindly accept you because you pledged at worst Kappa chapter ever (sorry Kappa... just picked one for an example) just so you could affiliate? And isn't there 1 chapter at USC that is struggling numbers-wise? Why would a person go through all that crap when there's a perfectly good chapter they MIGHT be invited to join?
