BID DAY IS SO MUCH FUN SO FAR! Anywho, here is the first night of recruitment

Night One:
On the first night, I probably changed my outfit 5 times. I finally decided on an outfit headed over to meet the two panhellenic girls early in the student center. I spoke to the two of them for a bit and then did some homework nearby while they handed out nametags. A few minutes later one of them panhellenic girls came over and started talking to me. Then another girl who was rushing came and sat next to me too. She was a junior and so sweet. The panhellenic girl came over and we chatted for a bit and then headed out. The first house we went to was Ariel.

Ariel was affiliated with a national sorority, until a certain year when nationals basically told them they could not offer a bid to a PNM, and if they did there would be severe consequences. The active sisters of Ariel were horrified and decided to disaffiliate. I was given a history lesson before I was given a tour. The tour was with a girl who I had a class with during a previous semester. She showed me all of the rooms as well as the cold dorm. The cold dorm there was my least favorite. We chatted for a while and got on great. The house had little candles everywhere and smelled SO great. It was a warm and welcoming feeling. Once we finished the tour we went down to the living room and started talking. People came up to me introducing themselves and were all super friendly and nice. I really had a great time there and loved all the girls I met.

My new friend and I then walked to Jasmine. This house was pretty nice. All of the walls were freshly painted and the girls were very friendly. This time my new friend and I went on a tour together with one of the girls. This house was nice and the tour guide was nice, but I just didn't really feel as at home there as i did at Ariel. We played fun games and they had more food than Ariel, but overall Jasmine didn't really seem like a place id fit into. The girls there were really nice, but I just didn’t see myself really fitting in with them. I really liked their cold dorm the best.

My new friend and I then headed to Belle. This was one of the houses I had really wanted to get into a while back. We got there late (we only had 18 minutes) and got a quick tour. My new friend didn't seem interested so she sort of rushed us out. I was kind of bummed out but I decided that ill visit again the next day by myself. This was by far the nicest house I’ve seen yet.

I didn't have a chance to go to Cinderella since it was the furthest away but it’ll be the first house I go to next time. I would like to visit Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel.
