I would not unfriend anyone right now, even if you only "know" them through a friend of a friend. The last thing you want is for the best friend of a girl in a sorority you want to say "WTF? Dance.Laugh unfriended me." You never know who is connected to who these days and how.
Just make your profile super private. For most things you can go to custom settings and make it "only me" - that is,
no one but you can see ANYTHING on your page.
