I saw the movie the other night for my birthday and LOVED IT. As others have stated, it showed a lot of positive things: sisterhood, pursuit of a goal.

What I loved is that Elle was not some catty woman. She was a nice person. Oh her fashion sense was jacked up

but it endeared her to me.

This is easily a movie about how perceptions of a person based on a long lived stereotype, i.e. being blonde is not always true.
