Some schools will guarantee a bid to A chapter if the PNM lists all chapters she prefs on her bid card.

However, I was unaware that they could guarantee bids to a SPECIFIC chapter, since you are ranking more than one group and they don't know how matching will play out.

For example, I could see if they were saying "I preffed XYZ, ABC, and MNO, and according to my Rho Chi I'm guaranteed a bid to ONE of them."

But I see PNMs saying that they are SPECIFICALLY guaranteed a bid to XYZ and I don't know how they would know that at this point.

I am a little confused here too. Am I missing something?
