Perhaps. But then, that "myriad of things" may mean, at least in some cases, there could be an open or non-secret (for AzTheta, exoteric ) meaning to certain parts of a coat of arms while there is also an estoretic meaning. Meanwhile, not all badges are things like kites, keys, quills, anchors or arrows. Many are shapes without an obvious meaning (diamonds, triangles) or a monogram, and many have symbols on them, yet we don't seem too inhibited in discussing them.

I can see a thread where we can, without discussing anything secret, share the history of our arms and how they have developed, see how they incorporate or relate to other recognized symbols or colors of an org, how they are used elsewhere (jewelry, architectural uses, stained glass), etc.

When I get a chance, maybe I'll start it.

It's so true. In fact, the open meaning of Delta Chi's Coat of Arms is so comprehensive that I was very surprised to learn that there was any more too it!
