On a completely different note, my engagment ring is not even real. It has sentimental value though...My fiance had a white gold/diamond ring on layaway here at home, but decided he wanted to propose while we were on vacation in Florida. He went to a Zales outlet, bought a small band (which is real) with a small chip (which is not real) so he would have something to propose with. Afterwards, I decided to keep the fake ring. The wedding bands we want don't really go with a solitare, and I work in a restaurant...an expensive diamond isn't very practical.
