Why didn't you just give it back to the friend and let her figure out who else to give it to? That's what you should've done. Now I recommend finding someone you know who is a member or even finding a chapter to donate it to after you explain why the heck you have it.
And...please...stop trying it on and make sure it's clean before you give it away.
