FSU RECS

Hey,
I hear recs are necessary at FSU to get a bid.... Is this true, because i'm a sophomore and have no recs I have a 3.7 gpa and participate in a few organizations and I'm very excited about rush week, but I dont really know anyone who I could get a rec from .....Any advice or tips would be very helpful on recruitment as a whole

Schools where you absolutely positively need recs. Your question is answered in the first page. That thread and many others have the kind of information you are seeking.

You list your city as Jacksonville. No doubt a city of that size is teeming with sorority alumnae. Keep asking around.

Do you have friends in any of the houses at FSU? Perhaps they can point you in the direction of some alumnae, because recs are an absolute must there.

Of course you know people you can get recs from: teachers, school counselors, friends of your parents, employers, Sunday School teachers, girlfriends who are in sororities, etc, etc, etc. Ask around...but you do need them for FSU....

Thank you to everyone, you all were so helpful. I found a ton of recs and wouldn't've known i needed them or how to find them without your help. Thanks
