I don't go to a Big XII school (mine's NAIA) I live between two of them though, Oklahoma and OK St. Although I grew up a Sooner fan as my parents are both alums of Oklahoma.

If you start looking at teams that could be championship caliber teams and are consistantly good. Well you have more overall talent in the Big XII than anywhere else (in football OR basketball)

Take Football, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado or Nebraska (if they get a good QB) could ALL be contenders for a championship. Kansas State and Texas A&M are also great programs. I'd be willing to say no conference has this much collective talent in their ranks.

Basketball? Big XII teams made up 1/2 of the Elite 8 and 1/2 of the final 4. No other conference even came close! SEC was out of the picture by the end of the Elite 8.

It's really hard to argue though which is better, SEC or Big XII. They definitely both have good arguements.
