Not for the squeamish:
Cops: Ind. woman tries taking baby, stabs parents
The woman had a miscarriage, didn't tell anyone including her own husband, walked around for months with a pillow under her shirt, and then, as her original due date approached, she identified a couple with a newborn baby and tried to kill them and take the baby and pass him off as her own. What a psycho.
What gets me is that her husband apparently was completely fooled. For all those months, he never saw her naked or in her underwear, he never saw her dressed without her belly pillow, he never saw a used tampon or pad in the trash, he never drove her to her OB/GYN for a prenatal checkup, and he believed he was feeling the baby kick when she "jostle[d] a paintbrush she'd slipped inside the pillow". I wonder if he still would have bought it if he'd come home from work one day to find his wife standing there, month-old baby in her arms, walking around just fine instead of flat on her back in bed. Would he have even wondered why she didn't call him so he could be at her side when she gave birth?

The story isn't funny but your commentary is.

No, the story isn't funny. I feel sorry for her that she wanted to have a baby so badly but couldn't. She went off the deep end, though, and she needs to be locked up for a while and get psychological help.
The weird and stupid part, to me, is the fact that her husband was so dense that, when she stuffed a pillow under her shirt and told him she was still pregnant and wiggled a paintbrush around and told him it was the baby kicking - he bought it. For months.
