Hee-hee! Glad to see I'm not the only one with that thought. As I like to say "no jewelry and no wine with a jingle!" (i.e., those cheesy radio commercials for jewelry stores, as well as the equally cheesy Sutter Home and Turning Leaf commercials...bleh!)
Mr. RedRoseSAI bought my ring direct from a diamond merchant...some friend of a friend who owns a shop on Jewelers' Row in Chicago. The stones are absolutely gorgeous, plus he got an incredible deal on it - I'm sure the mall stores would have been MUCH more expensive!
