did I miss something?

I'm worried that I will miss a chance to visit some ideal houses! I asked a greek leader and she said I could do something called "speed rushing" for set one. What does that mean, and who can I talk to so that I can do speed rush? Also, will this work against me? Sorry, I'm new at all of this.

Thanks!
I didn't see where you specified specific groups? I agree with the previous poster who told you to work with your employer. Something to think about if your employer is not flexible with your schedule- a lot of sorority activities are mandatory when your an active including recruitment. You will not maximize your options in my opinion if you miss parties. I'm going to assume that you'll be missing parts of round 1 which I think would negatively impact your schedule for the next day. Typically the biggest releases are done after round 1 and if you don't show up or are there for a limited amount of time I think your chances of an invite back could be impacted.

On a side note, keep an open mind going through recruitment. Very few girls down there have perfect recruitments. The Chapters are all very strong down there and there really isn't a stinker in the bunch. Don't believe every thing you hear about specific sororities- they all have their highs and lows. I have a niece down there in a Chapter right now and she LOVES it. Good luck.

Maybe you should actually look at the quote I had pasted above from her previous thread or search by all the posts by a poster before acting like everyone is making this up? You do realize that it's attitudes like hers that were responsible for your chapter closing at Arizona, right? K Thx Bye

Didn't realize the post was from a previous post- no worries searched and got it. I wish attitudes like hers were the reason why AXO didn't prosper at UofA. It was a lot more complicated than that. I think a lot of PNM's go through recruitment thinking they only want to be an ABC or an XYZ. A lot of it has to do with maturity and not completely understanding the recruitment process. Does it cause a lot of heart break? Yep, but it is also a learning process for the women.
