"The Wiz" was the first show I ever saw on Broadway. Stephanie Mills gave me chills at the end when she sang "Home" -- still does when I listen to the CD. (And the arrangement that KC did on Glee is, except for the choral back-up, almost exactly the same arrangement as Stephanie Mills' from the show.) I thought the movie absolutely butchered the show. Diana Ross was a horrible Dorothy. Although, IMO, the only GOOD Diana Ross is the one in the Supremes.

They should have had Stephanie Mills in the movie
