Hooters waitress files discrimination suit after being told to lose weight
I've been to many a hooters across the country and Roseville has by far the hottest girls working there.

You don't apply to be a waitress at Hooters if you don't know that your LOOKS are the thing that matters first and foremost.

The story is kind of meh, and old, but linking to freerepublic? The place where if you say "I disagree with everything Obama stands for but I think this whole birth certificate thing is silly" you get shouted down?
Not the best of news sources and a really weird place to pull this particular article from.

Interesting - Most NFL Cheerleaders do not have a specific height & weight requirement, however, do require that the candidates interested in the job fit into the uniform. Hooters girls have often been thought of as cheerleaders themselves. I'll be interested to see how this plays out.

He pulled it from the Detroit Free Press (freep.com), one of the two local newspapers in Detroit.
In the article I read, which I think was on clickondetroit.com, they said you had to fit in the uniform and hers was getting tight. Then they noted that Hooters uniforms come in in small, extra small and extra, extra small.

Then there are a bunch of Hooters waitresses here that should get fired. Not that they are 'fat' persay, but I also don't need to see huge muffin tops hanging over the sides of their orange spandex.
It's sad when the girls working at Hooters don't have any, though. lol

My ex worked at Hooters when we were in college and really wanted a Hooters shirt. It didn't fit my chest! But it fit everywhere else!
I thought it was a little nuts that clothing from a company that is known for its Hooters didn't make clothes for women who actually had them! lol

Hooters
Maybe a little off topic from the initial thread but as a side comment I would like to say that Hooters has some the best Key Lime Pie. I'm a huge Key Lime Pie fan. In the Summer of 2007 when I was in route to the Bahamas I made a quick stop at the Florida Keys to check out the famous Mom & Pop style Key Lime Pie. To my dismay, the real stuff in Key West didn't come close to the frozen stuff that is ready made at Hooters. The stuff in Key West was a little too much on the sweet side but the one at Hooters seems to have the perfect balance. Only 2nd to Hooters is a place up in Newport, RI on Thames Street called the "Red Parrot". http://www.redparrotrestaurant.com/
I've been to many Hooters throughout the Continental US (East Coat, West Coast & Central Region) and Mexico. By far my favorite one was in a mid-size town just north of Dallas, TX. It had the cleanest facilities, best customer service and the women there where some of the most beautiful waitresses I've ever seen. About 99.9% of them where all local college students and were familiar with the brotherhood of Phi Mu Alpha who would frequent the location and serenade the waitresses. Makes me proud to be a Sinfonian!

I agree, the Hooters here leaves a lot to be desired. There was also a pregnant chick working there the last time I went in.
