Even old school/seasoned sorors disagree. I was at a Greek function where alcohol was served, and people were in letters; I was at a public place where alcohol was served and had an LS told to take her letters off. Where is this information, sorors?
That issue came up at the Chicago convention and was addressed by Soror Fudge - it's your official pin that is not be worn where alcohol is being served (I believe that is addresed in the P/T manual) other paraphenalia is fine, but the alcohol should not lead to unbecoming conduct with letters on.
