I just found this info - the South Dakota State Chapter will be canoeing from Brookings, South Dakota to New Orleans, Louisiana. Their trip will cover 2,300 miles of river, take two months to complete, and includes the Big Sioux River, Missouri River, and Mississippi River. They will be raising money for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. You can see their website (and donate) here:

This is the same chapter that bicycled to convention in 2008. Needless to say, I think they're awesome.
