The most successful chapter on my campus is a chapter derecogized by the university. So don't think it's not possible. But, with that in mind you're still obligated to keep ATO's values.
My favorite rush shits was one that has Alpha Tau Omega, Fall Rush on the front. On the back it has a black & white picture of a Marine that said "Meet The New Boss."
