Multiple bids will not be issued. The word "bids" is used because more than one person is receiving a bid.

As far as the party, go and put in a brief appearance so as not to upset/alienate your friend. (You never know what fraternity men are talking to what sorority women.) Don't drink anything alcoholic. Stay an hour at the very most. If sorority members don't talk to you, they are not being rude. They are following silence rules.

@33girl: Thanks! That sounds close to what I was planning on doing.

Also, are the silence rules enforced before and during recruitment?
