Wait...that would mean that Bernard and Rose didn't jump to the present with everyone else during the final flash at the Swan/hatch? Am I forgetting/missing something? I was assuming that they jumped to the present with everyone else and were still hiding out in the jungle on their own.

I feel like when this is all over (so sad!), I'm going to need to go back and watch the entire series to really understand everything that happened.

I've completely forgotten what happened to them. They were seen on the plane in the situation where it didn't crash, but I can't for the life of me figure out where they are on the island.

I guess it would make sense if they were dead in the cave. But how did that happen?

I've thought the same thing. I just know they're going to reveal some things where I'm wondering "was that the case the entire time?"

I'll have to go back and watch to be sure.

ETA: It wasn't obvious to me. I assumed they went back to the plane crash since that's what they were trying to stop. There had been so much time traveling that it didn't really occur to me.
