I dreamt about scary animals! I dreamt that I was adjusting my pillow and a huge scary half possum/rat thing lunged at me from underneath of it. I woke up to near cardiac arrest. I had to go get a glass of water and watch some tv for awhile, I was seriously spooked. I normally don't get like that from dreams, but this was one freaky dream.

When I was little, I slept with my hands under my pillow to prop up my head. I watched the movie Leprechaun and would constantly dream that the leprechaun from that movie lived under my pillow and would try to eat my fingers. I slept flat on my back with my hands on my chest for weeks.

I feel a little bit funny even sharing this, but I had a dream that I saw my mom. I was so happy to see her, but was told that, to hug her, I would have to die, too. I chose to die.

I had a really vivid one with my mom in it (about her death) a few months after my mom's death, too.

I had a dream that I had been at my new job for awhile and I saved enough money to move into my own place. It was so beautiful.

Thanks for not making me feel like a freak. I believe that the dreamer is the Producer and Director of his or her dreams, and that they are a way of getting through a situation. I didn't want to think that my dream was the answer to mine!

Well I feel like they can be meaningful in the sense that you miss your mom and want to be with her so badly, or they can be meaningful in the sense that it's time to let go.
To be honest, it could be your subconscious telling you to let her go because the only way to be with her (except in your heart) is to die. I don't know though. My mom dream was much more clear.
We were in church and singing a hymn, and she and I were holding hands, and I started crying. She told me not to cry anymore, that she was happy, then we went up to the altar for communion and there was a floral arrangement in her memory on it, and I turned around and she was gone.

I had a mom dream a few months after she passed away too. She was laying in a hospital bed and we were just talking. Nothing huge, nothing significant, just talking about life like we used to. Then, in my dream, I asked her "How are you doing this? You're dead." and then she wasn't there anymore. I was SO mad at myself when I woke up from that. I didn't want to stop talking to her yet.
