I just picked up on this thread for the first time. My 2-cents are:

1. If you wanna start a "real world" group called Gamma Chi then go for it. I think the communities in Yahoo or MSN are a great place to begin discussions.

2. Personally, I'm not interested. There is already enough work to do in most of our Greek organizations (whether as alum or active).

3. Its ok for a thread to get feisty and heated. Reminds me of some sorority meetings.
