So I've been reading on here that we can't re-rush for a full year bc of NPC. But if we want to re-rush in the Spring of 2011, will we be at a disadvantage? We are both currently IN chapters (because we signed pref cards) but have only been for a short time. We're not initiated or anything, just VERY new members.
I guess I'm looking for a school specific answer? If that is at ALL possible. I feel like I will have it worse off at UVA to re-rush, but will it be hard for my Tech friend also? Will our sororities tell other sororities not to let us in? (Even though if I drop out for personal reasons, not me being like "well I hate XYZ." And likewise for my friend...)
Trust me I am giving this a try but I don't think it's fair to "XYZ" to stay in it for 4 years when I know I can't put my whole heart into it.
PLEASE if anyone knows about UVA/ Va-Tech re-rushing......PLEASE.

Here we go again. Does anyone have a picture of a Waammmbulance? Boo-hoo, I'm not in a top tier sorority. How do I maximize my chances to get into a better chapter? Count your blessings that someone took a chance on you. Did it ever occur to you (or any of these other new members who join lower tier chapters) that maybe you aren't exactly "top tier" material? Before you judge these lovely women who took a chance on you, consider that you might not be a "top tier" PNM.
Because I have friends who attended/ are now attending both UVA and VA-Tech, I'm here to tell you that I already have an idea what chapters you and your buddy have joined. For the record, both the sororities that you two joined are incredible. Do you want to know why they are incredible? They are NPC and girls who go bidless, each year, would kill to be in your spot.
I'm really getting sick of all these women coming on here and trash-talking the same women who took a chance on them.
