I think I was involved somehow during this recruitment. What year was it? I'm guessing about 2003? I vaguely remember the 3 days of round 1 I think.

yeah train wreck!!! but i do possiblybelieve the part about ADPi "Praying" the first night... I found a song in our song book entitled Sisterhood Prayer, its definately a song but is sorta prayerish and ends in AMEN... and is listed a song to be used during early recruitment... not quite sure why honestloy though

SERIOUSLY. The cherry red stapler guy in Office Space? A 20 year old version of that. And I thought well...looks aren't everything...so I tried to engage him in conversation. For the record no one in my house or pledge class treated me poorly at all. That's actually the opposite of what I was essentially trying to convey.

The reason I quoted this story as sad was because at the time, I was too insecure to overcome these issues and become Greek. But no matter whether I did or not, the girls still supported me no matter what. I COULD have gained more from that if I had chosen to take advantage of it, but I didn't. This is a story for potential PNM's that have doubts to basically say, if you have those doubts, here's why you may regret them. Not looking for sympathy because I am (even though I guarantee no one believes this nor at this point does it matter) way past it. But I encourage girls with doubts to be stronger people, like the women they admire, the women I admired.

You could very well have made this point without throwing shade on the chapters at your school, which is why I don't buy this.
