I know you may not feel like it right now, but consider yourself lucky! You are so much better off finding out what kind of person your ex is before you were married to him. Also, get your money back from your joint checkign account & ANYTHING else you put money into. You'll have to consult Maria for legal advice but I agree that you should definitely fight for what's yours. I also agree to hock the ring!!
