The Los Angeles Junior Circle and Alumnae Chapter adopted Beta Delta in Indiana recently. We are (obviously) too far away to help them with recruitment, but we recently sent them a finals care package. It was filled with all kinds of yummy treats like cookies, licorice, popcorn...you know, all the sugar-packed items that every collegian needs to get through finals week!
They loved it, and from what I hear, the treats went really fast!
Adopt-A-Chapter is a great program! I definitely recommend looking into it if you are in an alumnae chapter without a collegiate chapter nearby. It just goes to show you that when push comes to shove, Alpha Gams are always there for each other.
