But looking up the means of those, the gum one symbolizes that you feel indecisive, powerless etc and may feel overwhelmed by a problem. The teeth one is fears of how you're being perceived and feeling a loss of control.
Almost always when I have those dreams, I think of those explanations, and I can pinpoint the thing in my life that's bothering me.

I have read that the teeth falling out dreams are common in adults. I too have that one from time to time and I wake up and have to go to the bathroom mirror and check my teeth to see if they are still there, loose, or in decay
