It is great that an established woman would take on the responsibility of bringing of all stories, Hattie McDaniel's, to the screen. She intelligently dispelled character stereotypes by utilizing every opportunity to show that she (and others) were more than just what the industry consigned them to be. I will be glad to see this come to the big (or small) screen too. I think a lot of people will have a different outlook on Hattie McDaniel's life after they watch it.
