I go to Western Michigan University but it's commonly referred to WASTErn (as in being wasted) due to having a rep for partying.

Ok, I only have a few to add after reading this whole thing.

UC Davis = Under Construction Daily

De Anza College (a community college near my hometown) = UC Cupertino

I dunno if I've ever heard a nickname for UC Santa Cruz. I refer to Santa Cruz as Hippieville sometimes, but no one else does.

Besides this one, here's some others I've heard....

Purdon't (for Purdue)
Ewy-Pooy (for IUPUI. I'm not sure if people who go there actually call it that, but when I first heard it recently, it sounded like a diss to me, lol)

And I remember I went to a DePaul women's basketball game (my friends mom, who was my grade school basketball coach played there in college, and after every season she took us all to a game)...well they played St. Louis University, and then the cheerleaders chanted "S-L-U", the jazz band would shout "T!" at the end, lol

The only two that I've ever heard about my school:
Our Lady of the Lake University-in SA:
The bitch in the ditch and The chick in the crick.

Of course since it has an active order of nuns there, these were never said around them.

Haven't heard that one, but love it. I got some ribbing from my UCF and USF-bound friends when they found out where I'd be heading but I say let them talk.

The only college nicknames I've heard are ones referring to individual colleges within the university. College of Liberal Arts --> college of lost ambitions and such. That one I heard from an engineering student.
