I think what the op means is that she attended a "Meet the Greeks" or similar events that NPHC orgs host, which can be considered recruitment events since they target interested men and women, even though we don't label them as such.

I know what she meant. I'm in a BGLO, myself and have conducted such programs...I was just making it clear as she may have not known that "recruitment" is a no-no world in the BGLO word.
