I am not in touch enough to even realize what school you go to, but if it's a very competitive recruitment, "offender" could be taking a legitimate place from another girl. Only to be booted later, because there's no way this "secret" will stick.

She e-mailed someone ( I can't remember who it was, Nationals or something having to do with her chapter ) and they said she couldn't go through recruitment since she went through initiation... She was sad but oh well, I actually saw her on campus today and she seemed excited to join other clubs on campus instead.
It's funny to see her wear those shirts that say the chapter on campus since they aren't at the school here... Apparently she can still wear the t-shirts but isn't sure about wearing the letters on campus since she is now not a member at a college anymore.
