So I guess I should have held off and not made my recruitment story a live one, and waited to see what the ending was.
Tonight is pref night but I got called in for a meeting with my gamma chi this afternoon and told that I was not extended an invitation to anywhere. I am completely and utterly crushed.
Sorry to report that this tale does not have a happy ending.

First off, I am so sorry to hear that.
Do NOT be sorry that your thread didn't have a "happy ending." There's nothing to be sorry about at all.
Go home, pamper yourself, watch some movies, hang out with your friends, etc.

I will also ditto this - there is no reason to be sorry. Hurt, yes - sorry, no.
I wish you all the best and hope you can take the time to heal, then move on to other things that you enjoy.
