Good luck to all, and I hope they all stay well! I know at least one house has "wash your hands" signs in various places because of the flu. According to the local paper, it's spreading at TCU now, too.

True - wash your hands during recruitment! I know that sounds silly considering I hope everyone washes their hands ANYWAY, but I'm pretty sure recruitment was the culprit at TCU. I have friends in several sororities there (including possibly one in my chapter, not sure) who now have the flu strain going around... ugh, glad I'm missing that.

I also have a daughter at TCU, and it's not just the sororities being affected by the flu. It is spreading through the dance team and the nursing students (my daughter is in both of these groups ). They are just telling them to stay home, but at the same time, the university has told them that absences will NOT be excused! Not sure what they are trying to accomplish with that policy. I think the promised vaccine is going to be way too late...
