Things went well! They did an upper class and lower class quota for the first time this year and it worked well to increase retention. Over 1000 PNMs went through this year and quota ended up being 76 (under) and 11 (upper).
I have only heard that one group did not match quota. I know Kappa matched both quotas and had 88 new members yesterday (yay!)
. . . 780 students . . . received bids to a sorority on campus. It's the largerst group of women ever invited to join, according to Director of Greek Life Ron Binder.
"We had a record year for us," Binder said. "It doesn't get more exciting than this."
Almost 78 percent of the women that began the week finished with a bid, the highest percentage to ever complete the process. It broke last year's record, when 73 percent followed through by joining. . . .
Oh My! I am an oldie (graduated from USC in 90) but those 70's tube socks! I guess that's the style these days. I remember we all wore turn down cuff white socks with our letter embroidered on the cuff.
