There are a number of sophomores and juniors that do get bids at FSU - they are first-time PMNs and they have outstanding academics and community credentials.
Women that pledge, then drop out just before initiation, are rarely considered for membership at FSU and most major campuses. As my sister said, there is a preference for freshmen and a stigma attached to 'do-overs'.
