I'm more about influence points right now than $$.

I actually made up a chart that tells me which social events give you the most "bang for your buck"

1. Costume Party, 32 influence points for only 6 energy
2. Rent Beach House, 10 influence for 4 energy
3-A. Bake-A-Thon for Charity, 12 influence for 8 energy
3-B. Something else that you spend 10 energy and get 15 influence points
4. Valentine Shopping Spree and Bash, 16 influence for 11 energy

Ha - here's an example I can use to teach my kids that you can use math in real life...lol

That's good for right now, but if you want to buy glam or get job, then influence points start not looking good anymore. You want to be able to glam up your sisters, and the best glam costs the most $$.

The last two days have been hilarious! There are two younger players who just started accounts so they could slap the anti-slappers silly. I have seen so many grown women getting so angry about these two, I am dying! Someone actually used brownie points for cash yesterday so she could add one of them to the burn list for the nth time.

It's hilarious seeing women in their 30s and 40s spending BPs to burn two girls who can't be more than 20. And the one who had to be a 40-something who kept complaining about how the two girls needed to "get a life."

I have definitely discovered the very best thing about SL - the feed is pure comedy! I haven't joined houses with the two slappers (yet) but I have voted for them the past few days. I appreciate their entertainment value.

it really depends on your level (since some of the better glam doesn't come until the higher levels).

The best accessories to have are:
Mocha boots and the chocolate ankle boots (one has the best pop and the other has the best charm)

The outfit that is best to have is:
Flowered blouses for the lower levels
Rhinestone Vests and then the Sapphire Gown for the higher levels

The best ride to have is:
Hummer

Then of course you fight with 5x your level. So if you level fast you are constantly having to buy new glam.

To add to epchick's post, there are achievements for glam, one each for accessories, clothes and rides. I've been using them, working my way up in glam items so I could get each achievement. I'm a couple hundred shy of the platinum for outfits and accessories, but I'm working on it! The platinum for rides was just revealed, and at the moment the only way to get it is to buy 25 pink bugs with BPs - not going to happen!

Riding in Incredible Style - owning 25 rides, each with a Popularity of at least 7

Accessories
Freshman Accessorizer - owning any 5 accessories

At the bottom, right above the part that says "Chat box" there is a "Glam Calculator"

It tells you what you should have at what levels.

BUT you should note, it tells you the glam you need for being an attacker. If you are an attacker, you need good glam to attack, and good glam to defend since you're also defending against attacks.

If you are only an "organizer" (you mainly do events and your regular job as your 'income' and don't attack often or at all) you only need the glam with High popularity points.

For example, I'm a level 75, so it says:

► 375 Chocolate Leather Ankle Boots (Cost Total: $22,500,000)
► 375 Mocha Suede Boots (Cost Total: $30,000,000)
► 374 Dolce & Gabanna Tie-Front Gown (Cost Total: $39,270,000)
► 375 Silk Sapphire Gala Gown (Cost Total: $37,500,000)
► 1 Flapper Outfit (Stage A Musical Production)
► 375 Stretch Hummer Limos (Cost Total: $150,000,000)
► Overall Cost: $279,270,000

The Mocha Suede Boots & Silk Sapphire Gala Gown are needed for good attacks and don't offer high popularity points. Since I'm an Organizer, I only need the Chocolate Leather Ankle boots, and the Doce & Gabanna Tie Front Gown + Cars.

It's not really plausible to be able to afford 375 stretch HUmmer limos on the money i have in the bank right now, so I'm going to stick with the 300ish Escalades I have + my 3 planes + my 3 hummer limos and my VW Beetle. I'm not in a rush to buy the HUmmer Limos b/c some new cars are supposed to be released soon anyway.

The key is that each sister you fight with has to have an outfit, an accessory, and a ride. Since I'm a level 75, I need 375 of each because you can fight with 5x your level. So even if you have 500 sisters, you only fight with 375 at your level.
