thanks .. i do really like the girls .. a bunch are friends with my bf and had gone out of there way to in saying to him that they hope i rerush in the fall. by saying that is that a form of dirty rushing?

Saying that "they hope you rush" is NOT dirty rushing. That's just saying that they hope you participate in recruitment.

Saying something like "We hope you rush because we'll totally give you a bid" is dirty rushing.

My advice is to take everything these girls are telling you with a grain of salt.
