My chapter never got into the nickname tradition but my cross country and track teams did. I was called "Scout" since I was the lone eagle scout on the team and this was then used by many of the APO brothers as well.

I was given the name Fundadora Francis because...
1. I fluently speak Spanish and one of the seniors absolutely loved that because she was a Spanish major.
2. One of ZTA's founders was Frances Yancey Smith so since our first names are so similar, then I'm Fundadora Francis! (Fundadora means founder in Spanish).
