I live in FL and relatively close to where this happened. There isn't a law about passing gas on a bus  The bus driver wrote him up for "disruptive behavior" which got him suspended for 3 days.

I wouldn't want to actually on that bus experiencing it, in light of this remark: "creating a stench so bad that it was difficult to breathe."
However, I was still LMAO.
If the kid can come up with a "cause" like having IBS or something like that (note: Not sure if IBS results in pungent farting or not), but he could probably have a case.

Yes, it certainly can, as can colitis and Crohn's. I've known people who could burp at will, but I've never met someone who could poot at will.
