IIRC, he said at one point (either on the Bachelorette or this season of the Bachelor) that Ty's mom just decided one day that she didn't want to be a mom anymore.

I agree though that TMZ ought to do some digging. He was probably a tool all along and his ex just gave up and he's playing the victim.

Pack Jason the crier and step over the body Molly off to Dr. Phil, where they belong. Melissa, a winner in this silliness. Will I give the show an hour of my time tonight, or otherwise. No. It was more of a silly show time for me, but has become offensive. With---what--one wedding out of it overall, any woman considering going on maybe ought to just get a dog and go outside and meet some real people.

I haven't watched this show in years, but I heard the story this morning and could not help but think....He did what???/ What an ass!!?!?!?

As for the comment about Melissa not being good enough in bed, I am sorry, but he should have thought about that before he proposed on LIVE tv!
