The contestants REALLY needed some help with song choice this week. Really... give them some guidance. Some of these songs are terrible, AND the arrangements suck.
I do have to say that there's nothing better than DVRing it and missing all of the commercials and other crap.

It's as if none of them have ever seen the show before! What do the judges *always* say in the first round? Song choice, song choice, song choice!
I can't believe some of these choices... obscure songs, songs that do not show off their vocal range and don't even get me started on the chick that destroyed The Police song.
It pains me, but Tatiana has been one of the better girls, though the blond mom from earlier should sail into the next round.
Disappointing night.
Why do I get sucked in year after year?

I HATE Tatiana. But damn, the girl has some pipes and can sing. It's so incongruous. What a whack job, but all of that talent. She's got some of the better, stronger pipes this season.

I could take or leave most of them, but I don't think enough of the ones I liked tonight will be getting through. Did you all hear how they're moving through this year? Taking the top male and female from each of the three groups, then the next best from each, then a wild card. It means that if one group has more talent than another, they're SOL.
