One little girl (Brooke) featured in a documentary 12-plus years ago ended up at the University of Tennessee, and I believe she went ZTA. But her family never acted as trashy and ignorant as the stars of this show.

Did you watch last week? One little girl dressed as Madonna with gold pointed boobs, and another dressed like Michael Jackson while grabbing her crotch and gyrating. I knew it would be featured on "The Soup" and praise be to Joel McHale, it was. I always knew that some of these parents were messed up, but those two were disgusting to me.

The mother of a 3-year old (who has been competing since 13 months and has done around 70 pageants - she admitted to doing 2-3 a week in the beginning) said that they have spent around $200,000 so far. And what is up with the name "Aniston"? SHM.

The mother of the other 3-year old, whose husband is in the armed forces, lies and sneaks new expenditures for pageants into the house. I mean, her husband is likely putting his life on the line as a pilot, and his "fixed income" as she calls it, is wasted on this crap. And what kind of "talent" is riding a four-wheeled airplane-shaped scooter? The pageant director made a big deal explaining that the minimum age for talent is 3 because you have to have "real talent".

Craziness abounds.

I loved it when Aniston kissed her stick horse and then just dropped him and refused to do anything else! ROTFLMAO!

I LOL when the kids cry/don't do it and the parents are like "why didn't you do the routine?" or "why are you crying?"

Um, because she's like 3, hasn't had a nap or something, is cranky, and you are asking her to ride a stick horse in front of people maybe. Not happening.

I also love those people who made built a pageant room in their house for their kid to practice in. That'll be really great when they turn like high school age and decide it's stupid and don't want to do it anymore.

I loved the mom who was like "she's already had 3 pixie sticks but she needs more so she doesn't crash"

Bumping - Toddlers and Tiaras is back tonight!

One mom said that she's spent around $250,000 for her twin daughters to be in pageants so far. The girls are 1!

^^^ LOL at the waste. The kids could have VERY adequate savings accounts/college funds with that money.

I can't stand hearing Mackenzie screaming and hollering all the time. Her voice just grates on me. And that freaking pacifier stuck in her mouth - will she still have it when she's 10?? It's so ridiculous and the mother knows it. How these mothers allow their kids to be brats then shrug their shoulders is beyond my comprehension. It doesn't even take clever editing to show the kids at their worst.

This show makes me think some people shouldn't be parents. Some kids will turn out bratty no matter how they're raised, but a lot of these little girls are being carefully raised to be horrible prissy princesses that will likely make those around them miserable because they're convinced that the world revolves around them.

Blech.

Just think, Mackenzie will probably be going through Recruitment in about 14 years! Bet you can't wait (sic) for her to be your new member class! NiNi and all.

When I saw Mackenzie, her fits and her NiNi, the first thing that I wanted to do was call the Super Nanny. She needed the Naughty Stool and the Time Out area. Super Nanny would have a damn field day on that show.

I also would have snapped that binky NiNi right on the spot. Forget weaning her off of it. Cold turkey all the way.

As for Danielle, her mom could totally use some work. I see this with a lot of the parents on the show. They are morbidly obese. Perhaps the best thing that they can do is to spend more time on themselves. Instead they build their kids up, making the kids look good in an effort to build themselves up and live vicariously through them.

I don't care how much money you have, the tattoos on the twin's mom were nasty. I pray that her kids never get that many, if any, tattoos.

According to carnation, the majority of these types of pageant kids don't even go to college. LOL.

Too true. I mean, look at their parents. And can you imagine what would happen if Makenzie went through rush someday and acted entitled? Who would even give her recs anyway? The good kind, that is.

Didn't know that they did not go to college. I wonder why not?

Oh and can you imagine Danielle going through Recruitment? Only to not get a top house? But, a lesser second tier chapter, bottom tier chapter or no chapter at all? Perish the thought! Especially, when she considers herself to be prettier than the other girls and feels sorry for them. I would love to see that crying fit when that happens. Looking forward to that reality television show.

Seriously, I can not believe that these parents allow their kids to be filmed like this. I would never want to my kid to shown like the screaming brats these kids are. I would be bloody ashamed of them and me as a parent. And that these parents just let it happen and dismiss it on television is beyond me. Five minutes of so-called-fame is not worth the stupidity of their actions or lack of.
