Tara, based on my experience in rush and with the alum club in Fayetteville, I would say: don't set your heart on one or two groups, especially if you're from out of state. The U of Arkansas Greek system isn't big but it's entrenched and powerful... there are 4 sororities that are especially hard to get into. It's the kind of system where women plan for years how to get their daughters into certain chapters and like at LSU, a lot of legacies are cut.
