Is it mean to say "I hope the state takes them away b/c she's an unfit mother"? I think she has mental problems.

It's not wrong. I've thought the same thing. Unfortunately, I have a big issue with keeping siblings together, and I can't imagine any foster or adoptive families having the resources to do so.
Except, of course, the Jolie/Pitts family....

The other six are their siblings, too. They ought to have contact with all of them, and with their grandparents ... any adoption arrangement would have to consider that, or it wouldn't be right.
