Ewww LOL! Yeah, Layne Staley DID die terribly. We lost so many talented musicians from that era because of heroin...........so sad.
Anyway, re being from Olney, I could understand why someone wouldnt know it. When we moved there in '85 there was one stoplight. It has expanded SO MUCH since then. They keep building ridiculously huge house after huge house. What really happened was people from Rockville and Bethesda that wanted to live in a more intimate community started moving there in probably the late 80's early 90's-that's when Olney really started to explode, but compared to Bethesda and Rockville, we are still pretty tiny.
