I think things really vary with fraternities, and if you are a fraternity memeber as it seems your trying to imply... then you should know that well by now.

Well, if you knew much about fraternities, since you're so damn smart, you would have been able to decide which type he was planning on attempting to join, and been able to give advice tailored to that. Answers here aren't generic.

Do your English homework so you can make it to college then worry about rush.

And by the way, you're wrong. I'm in the SEC, we have the most competitive rush in the country and non-freshmen get bids at good houses every single year. Sure most people who rush are freshmen, but that's because most people know whether or not they want to rush when they get to school.
