I agree! How about some slouchy belts and big, poofy bangs? **1985!**

Love the plastic belts. We sure didn't have a hair shortage in the 80s and no one needed extensions. Just a lot of Mousse!

Farmville, Virginia - 1901

I was lucky enough to get a copy of a 1901 yearbook from the State Female Normal School of Farmville, Virginia. Kappa Delta, Tri Sigma and Zeta Tau Alpha were in their infancy. Alpha Sigma Alpha would be founded about 6 months later. I looked through the entire yearbook for the future founders of ASA but found none. Keep your eye out for a founder or two of the others.

Sigma Sigma Sigma section:

Kappa Delta section:

Zeta Tau Alpha section:

For those who are familiar with "Chi" which is still very active at Longwood University, it's interesting to note the first members:

Lastly, I think this photo of the "Basket Ball Team" is adorable. About half the team are members of the sororities.

Those are so cool. Thanks Leslie!

I love that it has our old badge design and colors in it. Some people don't know that our colors and badge haven't always been what they are today.

Sidenote: That cheer is still in use by some collegiate chapters
