I tried to answer this, but decided there ISN'T a pat answer. It's something that is uniquely yours. Just don't rush the moment.
If you have true feelings seperate from how you felt when you defined yourselves as "just friends", take it slow and let it happen naturally. Everyone has posted some sign posts along the way, so keep your mind and heart open so you don't miss them...which ever way they point.
