Beef between J-Lo and Suge Knight?

The Soul Train Music Awards were taped last Wednesday night and some very interesting news has surfaced since. The show has already been aired on various stations throughout the US. Suge Knight showed up to the awards about 50 deep and despite not being involved with the show, he made his presence known.

Jay Z was up for 2 awards, video of the year (“Girls, Girls, Girls”) and album of the year. He won one of the categories and when everyone got on their feet to applaud him, Suge and his entourage did not. The same thing happened when Dr Dre won the Sammy Davis Jr. Award for entertainer of the year (male). That is a little more understandable considering their past, but the reason for the disrespect to Jay is unknown. A possible reason for it is Jay’s snubbing of Suge, the thing is there is no word as to which what down first. Jay’s actions could have been in retaliation to Suge’s.

Anyways, Suge approached Jay-Z in his seat as he was conversing with Damon Dash, Suge said ‘whats up’ and Jay didn’t acknowledge that he was there and just kept talking to Dame. Suge then tapped him on the shoulder and said it again, Jay simply looked up, gave a nod and ‘whats up’ and then went back to his conversation with Dame. Apparently, Suge walked away looking rather pissed. This was reported by several people at the show so take it for what you will. In other Suge news, have you seen the size of his fucking earrings?!?
